Russell Brand Reforms the Media

Russel Brand just pulled the skirt over these news anchors’ heads and danced a major jig underneath it.

Comedian Russel Brand shows up on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” and completely disrupts the superficial narrative by speaking on semiotics and signs, texts and sub-texts, iconography, media brainwashing, and privacy of information – all with disorienting wit and charm.

While the masses are  inundated with articles and images about Kanye and the Kardashian,  kittens, and beach bodies, how often are we exposed to the ideas, technologies, and issues crucial to our local, global, and universal communities?

It all begs the question – what portion of your daily “programming” is intelligent, informed, and crucial?

And what are you going to do about it?

Via Expression of Truth: “Russell Brand shatters hypnosis of mainstream media.”
